Take the I-90 west to the 290. Follow 290 to the Delaware North exit. Take delaware all the way to the end, cross over the bridge and Gateway park is on your right.
From Buffalo:
Take the 190 to the 290. From the 290, get off on the Elmwood exit. Make a right off the exit and a right onto Military. Take military to the end, go over the bridge and Gateway park is on your right.
